What does the test class consist of?

The test class will be the opportunity that I will have to assess your knowledge of Spanish and for you to be aware of my working method, the materials that I use in my classes, etc.
Additionally, during the test class you can share any questions you may have about the course. The test class is completely free and does not imply any commitment on your part

Do online classes have an expiration date?

Online classes do not have a deadline date by which they must be held. If you contract a class package, you can distribute them over 4 months The only limitation I establish is when it comes to changing the schedule. Changing the class will always be possible if you notify us 24 hours in advance. With less than 24 hours in advance, the class cannot be changed and in case of cancellation by the student, the class will be considered as given.

What happens if my connection goes too slow or drops during the class?

If a problem occurs and the student connection is very slow or unstable while taking the class on Skype, other alternatives can be used to solve the connection problem. Programs like Zoom or platforms like Hangouts or Whereby can improve the online experience depending on the circumstances.
If the student's connection drops during the first 15 minutes of the class and it is not possible to re-establish the call, the student will be entitled to additional 30 minutes of class in their next class. If the student's connection drops after the first 15 minutes of class, unfortunately we will have to consider the class as completed.
If it is the teacher's connection that fails and it is impossible to re-establish the call, the student will have the right to recover the total class time, regardless of the time that has already passed.

I don't really like Skype, can we use another program?

As a matter of popularity and because it is the program that most students know, I usually use Skype in my online Spanish classes. In any case, there are other reliable alternatives such as Zoom, Hangouts and Whereby that I have no problem using if the student prefers it. Remember that the classes are personalized. You have the last word when choosing the program that we will use in the classes.

How far in advance can you change the class date?

You can change the date of both the face-to-face classes in Rio de Janeiro or the online classes by Skype,as many times you want as long as you notify us 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours in advance cannot be recovered. Please note that our hours are limited and by canceling at the last minute we cannot take advantage of the time you are disposing away.

British punctuality?

Classes will start promptly at the time reserved by the student. If the teacher is late, the class will not end until the preset duration is reached. In the event the student could not stay longer, the time lost by the teacher would be compensated in the next class.
If the student does not warn that he will be late, the teacher will end the class after 15 minutes. If the student warns that he is late, the teacher will wait a maximum of 25 minutes, but the class will finish at the established time.

Do I need to buy any material for classes?

No, you don't need to buy any material. Largely, we will provide you with all the material you need for the full course. Additionally, we can recommend the use of some complementary material such as grammars, dictionaries or exercise books, but the purchase of them is completely voluntary and does not affect the normal development of the course.
